<p>The work was getting done, but the process was taking more time than it needed to. The team needed a clearer way to manage communication, reduce manual admin, and give customers the updates they were asking for without another phone call. That’s when Way To Go implemented Blink.</p>

<p>Way To Go Car Transport implemented Blink to streamline communication and bring more structure to daily operations.</p> 

<p>Customers now receive real-time notifications at each stage of the transport process, giving them clear updates without needing to call the office for a status check. Instead of the team being pulled into repeated “where’s my car?” conversations, customers can see progress as it happens.</p> 

<p>For the operations team, this has created more breathing room during the day. Allocators can spend more time running jobs and less time reacting to update calls.</p> 

<p>The team also adopted Blink’s accounting export, pushing completed jobs directly into MYOB with a single click. With Xero and QuickBooks also supported, the same process can remove hours of manual admin each week by cutting out duplicate entry and keeping invoicing simple. </p> 

<p>Blink has also become part of the team’s everyday language. “Blinking” a driver is now a simple way to dispatch jobs and keep everything moving without relying on scattered calls, notes, and messages.</p>

Last month we released the Booking Details Page v2, a modernised experience with new capabilities such as bulk editing vehicles on a booking. The response was lovely: many of you told us you loved the new page and its features. Some of you also shared great suggestions, mostly around hierarchy, colour and making the most important information easier to find. Version 2.1 brings those suggestions to life.

### Your vehicles, without the scrolling

Vehicles are the heart of a booking and they sat too far down the page. The v2.1 layout brings your vehicle list into **view without scrolling**, with supporting sections made more compact to give the vehicles table the position it deserves. Bulk edit functions are still available!

### Colour that guides you

Each section now carries its own colour through a thin bar and icon, so you can tell at a glance where you are on the page while everything stays calm and readable.

### Better comments

Comments now show the author's **profile picture**, so you can see who said what at a glance. Conversations on busy bookings are much easier to follow.

## More detail, less back and forth

We've added a small change that makes a real difference to how teams communicate about a job. You can now include photo links in the comments on bookings and quote requests.

A photo often explains in seconds what a paragraph struggles to capture. With this update, anyone working on a booking can point to a clear visual reference without leaving the comment thread.

## When it helps most

This is especially handy for larger or more unusual freight, where dimensions, access and handling all matter. Picture a job involving heavy or oversized equipment such as a crane. A photo link gives everyone the same picture of what is being carried, so the people quoting, dispatching and driving are all working from the same understanding.

The result is fewer assumptions, fewer follow up questions and a smoother run from quote through to delivery.

## How it works

When you add or reply to a comment on a booking or quote request, you can now include a photo link alongside your message. Everyone with access to that booking can see the reference, keeping the relevant context in one place rather than scattered across emails and messages.

The feature is live for all users. Next time you are working through a quote or a booking with items that are tricky to describe in words, add a photo link and let the picture do the talking.

<p>The new Booking Details Page brings everything onto a single scrollable screen, with a refreshed design built around the work you actually do, not the way the data happens to be modelled. Here is what is new.</p>

<h2>Bulk item edits</h2>

<p>Select multiple vehicles with checkboxes and edit shared fields (PO number, price, status) in one go. Allocate, complete or cancel several vehicles at once.</p>

<h2>Customisable vehicle table</h2>

<p>Pick the columns that matter to you, reorder them by drag and drop, and your preference is saved for next time. Different dispatchers care about different fields, and now the table can finally reflect that.</p>

<p>Available columns include Make, Model, Rego No., VIN, Stock No., PO No., Price excl. GST, Driver Pay, and Status. Click the column settings icon at the top right of the items table to choose your layout.</p>

<h2>Comments and audit log, side by side</h2>

<p>Comments and the activity log now sit next to each other, both fully searchable. Comments also carry role tags so you can see who said what at a glance:</p>

<h2>The all in one view</h2>

<p>Customer, route, items, financial summary, comments, activity, attachments, integrations. Every section now lives on one scrollable page. No tabs. No hidden menus.</p>

<p>The new top section gives you everything you need at a glance: header, customer details, tracking notifications, booking info, collection and delivery, all together. The vehicle items table sits below, with comments and the activity timeline at the bottom of the page.</p>

<h2>Quick reply on pending bookings</h2>

<p>Carriers can <strong>Accept</strong>, <strong>Negotiate</strong> or <strong>Reject</strong> a pending booking directly from the booking page. Shippers can Accept or Reject pending shipper bookings the same way.</p>

<p>No more digging into a separate workflow to action a request. The answer sits right inside the Booking Details card.</p>

<h2>A few smaller wins</h2>

  <li><strong>Integration logs, inline.</strong> Integration logs are now visible to integrated users right alongside everything else.</li>
  <li><strong>Inline booking labels.</strong> Labels show next to the booking ID for faster recognition, so you can spot the bookings you have tagged without opening them.</li>
