Saving images with Blink Driver

Effortlessly save images directly to your device’s storage for easy access and data security.

This is a crucial feature and is highly recommended being turned on.

The save feature in the app helps prevent potential data loss.

Image Saving

Saving Images Automatically

Drivers using the Blink Driver App can now automatically save images directly to their device's local storage after capturing them during collection or delivery. These images will be stored in a folder called 'Blink Driver' on your device.

Deleting Saved Images

The app does not automatically delete saved images. Once the selected time interval has elapsed (default is four weeks), the next time the driver opens the Blink Driver App, they will be prompted to either delete or keep the photos that have passed the selected time limit.

How to Amend Image Saving Settings:

  1. Open the 'Account' tab in the Blink Driver App.
  2. Select 'Image Saving'.
  3. From here, you can choose the desired settings for saving and deleting images.

Enabling the Correct Permissions

When installing the Blink Driver App, drivers must grant the appropriate permissions to allow the app to save images to their device. This includes enabling access to photos and other necessary permissions, depending on your device.

When prompted, select Allow Access to Photos (or similar prompts based on your device type).
