Drivers can now merge locations with identical addresses on the driver app, streamlining their route and optimising efficiency by consolidating stops with similar destinations.
Similar to existing functionality available to dispatchers, drivers are now able to merge locations together, provided they have the same address.
Note: The following functionality, including the 'Manage Stops' button and the subsequent checkboxes, are only available if the merging is a valid action. In other words, if the locations are the same. Don't worry if you can't see the buttons!
Merging locations on the driver app
- To merge a location, navigate to the location list, and select the 'Manage Stops' button.
- Select one of the location to merge - the other locations will filter out ones that aren't available to merge.
- Select one of multiple location to merge together, then select the 'Merge' button. In this example, the first two collection locations.
- Success! Here you can see location one with four vehicles - the first two locations on the run are now combined to a single collection location.
