Make sure your driver can call the right contact and see important location instructions in the Blink Driver App.
Setting up collection and delivery locations correctly helps ensure drivers have all the tools they need while on the road. That includes making sure the contact number is in the right field, and that any useful notes are provided for driver visibility.
Contact details
To enable the call-out button in the Blink Driver App, the phone number must be entered in the Contact Phone field.
We’ve seen a few cases where users paste both the name and number into the Name field, which stops the driver from being able to call. Double-check to make sure:

Name = contact name only

Phone = valid mobile or landline number
This ensures the driver can call the site or contact with a single tap in the app.
Notes
Notes entered against a location are visible to the driver during pickup and delivery in the Blink Driver App. Use this section for anything that may assist the driver, such as:

Access instructions or security codes

Preferred loading zones

Contact preferences

Time restrictions
Well-written notes help avoid delays and support compliance with delivery expectations.
