How Do I Create Carriers and Carrier Groups?

Learn how to set up carriers and carrier groups in Blink so you can manage partners more efficiently and target jobs to the right providers.

Carriers are the individual transport providers you work with. Carrier Groups let you organise carriers into subsets, making it easier to target jobs based on region, performance, or business needs.

Creating a Carrier

1. Go to your Settings page and select Carriers.

2. Click Add Carrier in the top-right corner.

3. Choose whether the carrier is Business or Personal.

4. Fill in the required details:

   • Business name

   • Contact name

   • Business email

   • Business contact number

5. Click Add Carrier to save.

Creating a Carrier Group

1. Go to your Settings page and select Carrier Groups.

2. Click Add Carrier Group in the top-right corner.

3. Enter a unique Code (letters, numbers, spaces, dash -, underscore _, and dot . are allowed).

4. Optionally, add a Name for internal reference.

5. Use the search box to find and add carriers to the group.

6. Click Add Carrier Group to save.

Managing Carrier Groups

• Add or remove carriers at any time as your needs change.

• Edit group details such as the name or description.

• Delete a group if it’s no longer required. Deleting a group will not delete the carriers themselves, it only removes their association with that group.
