With Blink's new File Uploads feature, users can easily attach files to their bookings using drag-and-drop functionality or by selecting the file from their computer, enhancing communication and documentation.
You can now upload files to your bookings!
How to upload
There are multiple options you have when it comes to uploading files to your booking in Blink.
Firstly, you can drag and drop, select the file you'd like to upload and drag it to your bookings list
When you release your mouse, it will pop the upload modal for the booking you dropped the file on
Additionally, if you're on the booking details page, you can drag and drop here as well, select the file you'd like to upload and drag it to your bookings page in the Shipper Details area
When you release your mouse, it will pop the upload modal for the booking you dropped the file on
On the booking details, you also have the option to select the three vertical dots on the Shipper Details section, and select Upload a file
This will bring up your computers file explorer, where you can select a file to upload and bring up the upload modal
Visibility - Linked Shippers
When working with a linked shipper, you will have the ability to upload files that a visible to the shipper. This includes Tow Dockets, Documents or general File types
Having the checkbox selected, the shipper will be able view and download the file shared to the booking.
Uploading a Tow-Docket
When working with a linked shipper, there may be a requirement for a tow docket on a booking. Selecting Visible and Tow Docket will satisfy the tow docket requirements for review by the shipper (Labels will update automatically)
Uploading a Document
Similar to tow dockets, you are able to upload supporting documentation to your booking
You will see the attached file on the Attachments list
Uploading a File
For general files, additional images or documents to be linked to the booking you're working on
You will see the attached file on the Attachments list
Approved File Types
Currently, we accept the following file types;
- JPEG
- GIF
- PNG
- BMP
- CSV
- TXT
- RTF
Some integration partners do not accept all file types, any issues with uploading please reach out to Support.
