Blink Driver App settings

Easily configure Blink Driver App settings to customize mandatory collection and delivery requirements, including proof of condition photos, vehicle condition, and signatures, along with managing exceptions, vehicle selection, and merging locations.

You can choose from a range of settings for your drivers!

Overview

To check your settings, select your name in the top right hand corner of the nav bar.
Select 'Driver App' from the subheading menu on the left hand side.
Here you can see your default settings.

Note: Drivers receive a settings update once a day - if you've changed some settings and cannot see your changes, a hard log-out from the driver will force them to download their new settings configuration.

Mandatory collection and delivery requirements

Here you can choose which data you'd like your driver to capture before they complete each location. If any of these are selected, your driver will be unable to complete their location unless they capture the appropriate data where specified.

Proof of conditions photos:

Drivers are able to take photos for each vehicle assigned to their run, for every collection and delivery

Vehicle condition agreement

Below the vehicles on the location list, this agreement part of each location complete

Signature at location

At each location, drivers are able to capture signatures, either directly from the customer, or they can select the unattended option

Exceptions

If drivers are unable to collect or deliver a vehicle, we allow them to input a collection or delivery exception. This ensures the transport can be completed at a later date, if necessary. If selected, the 'Im unable to collect/deliver this vehicle' button will be available for each vehicle at collection or delivery. If not, the button won't be seen by drivers

Ability to select vehicles to collect and deliver

If selected, drivers will have the ability to choose a subset of vehicles to collect and deliver at a location.

Ability to merge vehicles with the same location

If selected, drivers will have the ability to merge locations together that have the same collection and delivery address, ensuring they only need to complete one location for multiple vehicles.

Price visibility

Admins are able to expose prices for their drivers as captured in the booking form. If entered and selected through the driver app settings, drivers will be able to see the customer price of a vehicle, and their own driver pay for each vehicle.

If turned off, these prices are not exposed to the driver.

If left empty, nothing will show. See screenshot below for prices that have been entered.
