Booking Comments

With the new Booking Comments feature in Blink, users can conveniently add and view comments directly within bookings, providing internal notes or sharing information with linked shippers.

You can now add comments to your bookings! These can also be visible to the shipper on a linked booking.

Navigating to the Comments section

To find your bookings comment section, you will find a Show: just above your booking audits.

Comments

Selecting Audits will dropdown a modal where you can select Comments

Selecting Comments will allow you to see any previously added comments to the booking, and allow you to add a comment

External Comments

When working with a linked shipper, you can select External on your booking comments. This will allow the shipper to see the comment on the booking

After inputting a message for the booking, select Save to record the comment

On an External comment, you will see the Blink B at the end of the comment, referencing it is visible to the linked shipper

If adding an internal comment on a linked shipper booking, simply uncheck the External box and it will not be visible

Edit or Delete a Comment

Selecting Edit will allow the comment to be changed, both the input text and the External (visible to Linked Shipper) selection

After updated the message for the booking, select Save to record the updated comment

See how the Blink B is no longer applied to the comment, meaning it is visible to the Carrier.

Comments will be recorded on the Audit trail

The feature allows you to incorporate internal commentary into a booking, provide a note to the Shipper (linked), and enhance your bookings by utilising it as an additional feature in conjunction with File Uploads.
